Gabriel Assaad is a trial attorney representing businesses and individuals with respect to their trial matters. Mr. Assaad also assists businesses and individuals in their corporate, immigration, and insurance matters. He has extensive experience litigating cases in state and federal courts and has tried many cases to verdict. With respect to immigration, Mr. Assaad represented many individuals in deportation proceedings in Immigration Court. He also represented businesses and individuals with respect to seeking employment-based immigrant and nonimmigrant classifications along with the representation of individual clients seeking family-based immigrant and nonimmigrant benefits. Mr. Assaad also has represented individuals in their appellate matters in the highest courts in the District of Columbia and Virginia.
Mr. Assaad began his legal career in 2001 as an associate for a large law firm in D.C. practicing patent and complex litigation. He then joined a boutique law firm dedicated to the protection of individual rights including individuals who have been victims of personal injury and medical malpractice. Prior to beginning law school, Mr. Assaad was a mechanical engineer designing automated assembly equipment.
Mr. Assaad received his Juris Doctor from Vanderbilt University Law School and received his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida, graduating with a bachelors of science in Mechanical Engineering. He is a member of many national organizations dedicated to representing businesses and individuals, including the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association and the Fairfax Bar Association.
He is licensed to practice in the District of Columbia and Virginia. He is admitted to practice in several federal courts, including the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, the United States District Court of the District of Columbia, the United States District Court for the Eastern of Virginia, and the United States District Court for the Western District of Virginia, and has been admitted pro hac vice in various jurisdictions around the country.
